This work is an example of Fox’s style soon after she started at the Cooper Studio. The graphic composition is clean and orderly, with simple and minimalistic patterns that still allowing the hand of the artist to be present. These illustrations were among the many Fox completed for Better Homes and Gardens’ issues and books throughout her early- to mid-career.
