A Purposeful Partnership: Art Director and Illustrators will be on view from September 8 to October 24, 2015 at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators. The exhibtion explores how a well-crafted layout reflects the art director's ability to envision form, color, and space on the page, and select the best artist for the content. In an ideal partnership, the artist will have ideas to illustrate the content, and understand the interconnection of his art within the layout. The show features works from the Museum's Permanent Collection.
