From graphic novels, advertising campaigns, and websites to children’s books, infographics, and video games, the Illustration major opens doors to a huge variety of fields. Courses include studio work in traditional and digital media, humorous and cartoon styles, and 3-D models, to name a few—as well as projects and internships that build skills at working with creative teams. The common ground is storytelling, concepts, and imagination expressed through drawing and image making. CCAD's BFA in Illustration prepares students technically, conceptually, and professionally for pursuits in the Illustrative Arts including print and digital publishing, design applications, business and educational communications, and entertainment media.
