The course actively encourages innovation within the application of drawing and image-making techniques; celebrating individual expression, conceptual thinking and diversity within all aspects of visual storytelling.
Alongside tuition of industry-standard digital platforms, the course supports the integration and active hands-on exploration of traditional craft skills within students' illustrative practice, both 2D and 3D, including bookbinding, printmaking and drawing. Staff with extensive practical and commercial experience (along with visiting lecturers), are employed to ensure that each student has the very best teaching and awareness of contemporary practice to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.
Small year group numbers ensure consistent contact with tutors and technical staff with regular tutorials, one-to-ones and access to facilities.
