You will take a variety of studio courses, including drawing, painting, and digital to develop familiarity with various media. You’ll also take illustration concepts, history of illustration, business of illustration, and portfolio classes.
We are proposing a relatively new track system. The entertainment track grooms students to find work in visual and character development. The editorial track helps students interested in magazine, newspaper, and book jacket publishing. The sequential track is for students who want to work in a serial form, whether comics, graphic novels, or children’s books. The graphic track is tailored to students who also love graphic design and want to learn typography and layout, to create packaging, products, and countless other combinations of design and illustration.
